PX Equine Enterprises Inc. hosts StarrLee Heady, LMHC and appropriately trained Equine Specialists and Staff as they provide Equine Interactive and Equine Assisted Clinical services as well as Equine Assisted Growth and Learning sessions.
"EAGALA" (Equine Assisted Growth And Learning Association) Model Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) incorporates horses experientially for emotional growth and learning. it is a collaborative effort between a licensed therapist and a horse professional working with the clients and horses to address treatment goals.
While not all clients are candidates for Equine Assisted Psychotherapy it is an option with a broad application to issues and situations.
EAP is an experiential modality. This means that participants learn about themselves and others by participating in activities with the horses, and then processing (or discussing) thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and patterns." EAGALA 2007

"Many cultures have at some time in history involved the horse in safe passage. Whether the journey took people to a promised land, a spiritual experience, exploration and conquest, or safely home, the horse has been with us. The quiet solidarity of the horse can still help us journey through life with safe passage. There is help in your journey through life's difficult travels." StarrLee Heady LMHC, EAGALA III
