Hopes, Dreams and Horses, Jupiter, FL location - This is a 6 hour workshop running from Noon through 6 pm on February 21st 2015
Green Cove Springs, FL location - This is a one day workshop focused on a better understanding of herd behavior, and working within the herd as well as knowing how to intervene and change behaviors of individual horses within the herd and in relationships with your horses. These skills will assist EAGALA Equine Specialists in their choices and interventions in EAGALA model sessions. The workshop is hosted by PX Equine Enterprises Inc. of Green Cove Springs, Florida and Richie Wingfield Horsemanship. This manual was written to assist EAGALA providers in preparing for and developing programs for the U.S. Military. It was presented initially at this year's (2013) EAGALA conference with wonderful reception and feedback. You will find sample and suggested session profiles and background for creating multiple programs within the pages.

“Parenting From The Barn: A Brief Guide to A Psycho-Educational Parenting Program Utilizing Equine Interactive Learning Activities”, gives you a head start in planning and implementing a Parenting Program with horses. The book was first written in 2004 and includes an overview of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy practices and Parenting Curricula. It was updated in 2005 to include “Transitioning (The Family Plan) with Equine Assisted Psychotherapy & Equine Interactive Counseling” which includes a sample program outline and takes you a step further into helping families move from challenge to healthy choices in parenting and family functioning. Practitioners from around the world have used this manual as a spring board to providing parenting programming in their Equine Assisted practices.
